These terms are the agreement between you and BIS, CVR no. 45318672, Horsens, Denmark ("we", "us") for the use of the Dromora iPhone app and the service behind it. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them.
How we handle your data is covered separately in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
1. What Dromora is
Dromora is an EV route planner. You tell it where you are going; it works out where to charge, for how long, and what you will arrive with.
Dromora is not a navigation app. It does not give turn-by-turn directions. When you are ready to drive, it hands the route to the Tesla app, which navigates.
Everything Dromora shows you — arrival battery percentage, charging duration, cost, whether a charger is free — is a prediction based on models and third-party data. Predictions are wrong sometimes. Weather, traffic, elevation, driving style, battery age, a broken charger, or a queue can all change the outcome.
2. Safety — read this one
You are responsible for driving safely and lawfully. Do not operate the app while the vehicle is moving. Set up your plan before you drive, or while parked.
Do not rely on Dromora as your only source of truth for reaching a charger. Keep a margin. If the app says you will arrive with 6%, treat that as an estimate, not a promise.
Charger locations, power levels, availability, and prices come from third-party sources and from other drivers. They can be out of date or wrong.
We are not responsible for the condition, availability, pricing, or operation of any charging station. We do not operate chargers.
Do not rely on Dromora where failing to reach a charger could endanger someone — medical transport, emergency travel, or remote driving in severe weather. The specific hazard of an EV trip that goes wrong is being stranded, possibly in cold, possibly without signal. Dromora is a planning aid, not a safety system.
3. Your account
You need an account, created with Sign in with Apple. Keep control of the Apple ID it is tied to.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Dromora.
One account per person. Do not share your account.
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Me → Delete account). Deletion erases your data as described in the Privacy Policy and cannot be undone.
4. Connecting a Tesla
Connecting a vehicle is optional.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. "Tesla", "Model 3", "Model Y", "Supercharger" and related marks belong to Tesla, Inc.
When you connect a car, you authorise us, through Tesla's own consent screen, to read the vehicle data listed in the Privacy Policy and to send destinations to your car.
Your use of Tesla's services remains subject to Tesla's own terms.
Tesla can change or withdraw its API at any time. If that happens, connected-car features may stop working. You can still use Dromora by entering your battery percentage manually.
5. What you may not do
Do not:
reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app, except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded;
access the service by any means other than the app — no scripted clients, no scraping, no automated bulk requests;
use the service to build, train, or populate a competing product or dataset;
resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service or the data it returns;
interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or circumvent any limit or authentication;
submit false charging-stop or price reports, or otherwise deliberately poison the data other drivers rely on;
use the app for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or terminate an account that does any of these. Except where we must act immediately to protect the service or other users, we will tell you why before suspending or terminating your account, and you can respond to [email protected].
6. Price
Dromora is currently free to use.
If we introduce paid features in future:
purchases are made through the App Store and Apple processes all payments — we never see your card details;
a subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings;
refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies;
we will tell you the price and what is included before you buy anything, and features you already paid for will not be taken away mid-term.
Charging itself is paid to the charging network, never to us.
7. Ownership and licence
We own the app, the service, our planning algorithms, and our branding. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service.
You keep ownership of the content you enter (trips, saved places, your car). You grant us only the licence needed to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Dromora uses third-party data and open-source software under their own licences:
other open-source components under their respective licences.
These attributions are also shown inside the app.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service running, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may need to take the service down for maintenance. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer-protection law. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the UK, your statutory rights are not affected by anything below.
Subject to that:
the app is provided "as is"; we do not warrant that predictions will be accurate or that the service will be error-free;
we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on a prediction, from a charger being unavailable or broken, from third-party data being wrong, or from a third-party service (Apple, Tesla, a charging network) failing;
where our liability can lawfully be capped, it is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or EUR 50.
10. Termination
You may stop using Dromora at any time and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, or if we discontinue the service. Sections 7, 9, 12, and 14 survive termination.
11. Apple-specific terms
These apply because Dromora is distributed through the App Store:
This agreement is between you and us, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app, including product-liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to a legal requirement, and claims under consumer-protection or privacy law.
If a third party claims the app infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your own country's courts. We will bring any proceedings against a consumer only in the courts of the country where they live.
If you have a complaint, email [email protected] first — most things are settled that way. If we cannot resolve it and you are a consumer in Denmark, you can bring it to Center for Klageløsning and, if it remains unresolved, to Forbrugerklagenævnet — both at Nævnenes Hus, https://naevneneshus.dk. If you live in another EU/EEA country, you may instead use the consumer dispute-resolution body in your own country.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for changes that materially affect your rights, notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Dromora after that means you accept the updated terms. If a change materially affects your rights and you do not accept it, you may delete your account before it takes effect, at no cost.
14. General
If any part of these terms turns out to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
We may assign this agreement as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business; your rights under it, and the promises in the Privacy Policy, bind the new owner. You may not assign it.
